About Us
Wild Roots Hair Studio
Not just hair- Calm, Cosy Sanctuary.
This wasn't just a salon appointment; it was a deeply holistic, calming ritual focused purely on health and style.

Wild Roots was created to be a sanctuary for those who struggle in traditional salons. Whether its because they find them too loud, too sales driven, too polished or just don’t feel heard by their hairdresser.
At Wild Roots, I use natural products where possible. Including making my own herbal hair steam and rinse blends from my garden. Each product or ingredient choice is prescriptive to my guest and their needs.
When cutting and colouring I am a massive advocate for low-maintenance, easy to style looks. I am a curly hair specialist and I love cutting hair tailored to each individual texture. Personalising a colour and cut can transform the way you feel.
Wild Roots opened in June 2025, and its given me more freedom and passion for my craft than I thought was possible.
Curls
As a curly hair specialist and enthusiast, I see day to day the impact of a personalised curly cut. Each head of curls is completely unique and special and it should be treated so.
Calm
I never want getting your hair done to feel like another chore. In a world built on rushing and speed, take time to enjoy a little calm. Wild Roots focuses on your nervous system just as much as your hair.
Colour
The right colour transforms the way you feel. I specialise in natural enhancement and low maintenance colours. Using Davines, a sustainable and gentle brand, each colour is tailored to you.
Meet the team

Lexie Webster
I am the founder of Wild Roots. I started my hairdressing journey when I was 14 years old, and I've been in love with it ever since. I am a curly hair specialist, however I do love to do all hair types. For me, its not just hair. The connection I make with each guest, the creativity and trust they give me, is what its all about. Wild Roots has given me the freedom to explore this and its honestly been life changing. I'm so grateful to anyone that trusts me with their hair.

Gaia
The cutest puppy, but of course I am biased. Gaia is almost always at Wild Roots with me. She is only 5 months old but is incredibly friendly. As she is only a baby she has her own section of the studio, where she can relax and watch everything that goes on. Most guests forget she is even there, but if you do want her to be away from the studio while you are in, please just let me know beforehand.
